But for Michelle and Alex, the duo that they are, none of these realities stood in the way. They embraced the challenges and got married next to a waterfall, making water a central theme of their day.

Iceland, with its otherworldly landscapes, has become a coveted destination for elopements. However, the dreamy visions often meet a harsh reality check with the island's notorious weather. Wind and rain can be unwelcome guests, turning the romantic notion of an outdoor ceremony into a logistical challenge. But Michelle and Alex, aware of Iceland's temperament, were undeterred.

Instead of chasing the elusive perfect weather, Michelle and Alex accepted the unpredictability of Iceland's climate. Their elopement day wasn't about avoiding the rain but navigating through it, proving that sometimes, it's the raw and unfiltered moments that make the best memories.

The duo chose to tie the knot next to a waterfall, fully aware that it could mean a misty and wet ceremony. The cascading water served as a powerful backdrop, emphasizing the untamed beauty of Iceland while adding an adventurous edge to their vows.

After the ceremony, Michelle and Alex continued to embrace the water element, making it an integral part of their elopement day. Rather than seeking shelter from the rain, the couple opted for a rainy photoshoot.
